Wyposażone są w osprzęt elektryczny firmy Kiepe, silniki prądu stałego o mocy 150kW oraz napęd pomocniczy diesla w postaci silnika VW o mocy 35kW. Posiadają 35 miejsca siedzące i 69 stojących. Ciekawostkę stanowi fakt, że kilka lat temu były przymierzane do sprowadzenia do Gdyni, ale ostatecznie nic z tych planów nie wynikło...

Najciekawszą linią trolejbusową jest jednak 683, której trasa wiedzie z Wuppetalu-Vohwinkel, gdzie spotyka się ze Schwebebahn, przecina całe Solingen z północy na południe, by ostatecznie dotrzeć do Burg, gdzie z powodu braku miejsca trolejbusy zawracają na słynnej obrotnicy. Tak to wygląda...

16 march 2009 - Solingen - Krahenhöhe. Część kursów linii 683 (z reguły mniej więcej co drugi) skrócony jest jednak tylko do tejże pętli. Częstotliwość kursowania na 683 to co 10 minut w szczycie, co 15 poza nim, a czas przejazdu w jedną stronę wynosi nieco ponad 40 minut (w krótszym wariancie nieco ponad 30 minut). Do obsługi linii zatrudnionych jest 10 takich trzyosiowców o długości 12m, przy czym ich dni są policzone...

16 march 2009 - Solingen, baza SWS, gdzie trolejbusy parkowane są bardzo nietypowo, bo "na jodełkę". Niezwykle praktyczny sposób, który nie tylko ułatwia manewry na bazie ale pozwala również na znaczne zredukowanie ilości sieci powieszonej nad placem, co zresztą widać. Zdjęcie z dedykacją dla władz Lublina oraz pracowników tamtejszego MPK!

12 june 2001 - Wuppertal, Vohwinkel. Nigdy nie jest tak dobrze żeby nie mogło być lepiej. Kolejka niestety nie wyjechała do wspólnego zdjęcia z trolejbusem (takie rzeczy to tylko na fotostopach ;-) W każdym razie te dwie unikalne jak na Niemcy trakcje tutaj się spotykają.

12 june 2001 - Solingen, Burg Brücke. Motyw co prawda mocno wyeksploatowany, ale zawsze godny podziwu, co można zrobić gdy, nie ma miejsca na pętlę. Trolejbus po wykonaniu przynajmniej kilkunastu tysięcy obrotów na tej karuzeli udał się do Sarajewa.
