29 september 2008 - Bucuresti, Romania – URAC. A last view of an ex-Geneve Saurer trolleybus, standing in the URAC scrap line surrounded by many old buses and trolleys for destruction. Bucuresti ran a batch of these nice-looking vehicles until a year or two ago, when enough new Skodas arrived to allow them to be withdrawn. This was the only one I found – maybe it was the very last to survive. Originally, in Geneve, these were MOTOR buses and were only converted later into trolleybuses.

30 september 2008 - Bucuresti (RO) – URAC. The anatomy of a trolleybus. This Saurer had an interesting history. It operated in Geneve (CH) until 1991 as #449 and then went to Bucuresti for a few years, until it finished up here.
