29 grudnia 2022 roku podpisano wyrok na elektryczne Ikarusy w Bukareszcie. W zamian za nie pojawi się 100 sztuk Solarisów Trollino, które będą wyposażone w baterie umożliwiające jazdę bez sieci trakcyjnej na dystansie 20 kilometrów. Dzięki temu trolejbusy zyskają większy priorytet przy budowaniu atrakcyjnej oferty przewozowej.

1 september 2010 - Bukareszt, Bulevardul Alexandru Obregia. W planach rozwojowych bukaresztańskich władz jest połączenie odrębnej południowej sieci trolejbusowej z jej zasadniczą, miejską częścią. Brakuje w sumie niewiele, może z 2 km drutu. Po nowej trasie miałyby kursować trolejbusy linii 76, która zostałaby przedłużona do Piata Romana. Przy okazji planowano również zakupić kolejnych 150 nowych trolejbusów, które posłużyłyby do obsługi tej linii, a przy okazji udałoby się wycofać 100 najstarszych Ikarusów 415T. Planów jednak póki co nie zrealizowano, pewnie z uwagi na kryzys.
