27 september 2008 - Ploiesti, Romania – depot/zajezdnia Podul Inalt. Numerically the first of the Ploiesti trolleybuses, this would be a very desirable registration plate if you could buy it for your own car. The springs don’t seem to be in very good condition – it isn’t the picture that is crooked, it’s the bus!

27 september 2008 - Ploiesti (RO) – depou/zajezdnia Podul Inalt. This is the first Ploiesti trolleybus from 1995. It looks like it was towed here, so it may be broken. It’s one of the newest trolleybuses in the fleet, though. In answer to a question posed yesterday – these have chopper control.

27 september 2008 - Ploiesti, Romania – Podul Inalt. Two Rocars wait at the turning loop of Line 201, whist an ex-Geneve artic on Line 44 creeps up behind. As Ploiesti only bought five of these Rocars, I wonder what they used before the French and Swiss buses arrived?

10 september 2009 - Ploeszti, B-dul Independentei. Przedstawiciel mniej licznej tutaj serii - elektryczny Rocar. Ploeszti posiada tylko 5 takich wozów. Mimo, że całkiem młode (13-letnie), to jednak wyglądają gorzej od szwajcarskich weteranów (34-latków).

27 september 2008 - Ploiesti (RO) – depou/zajezdnia Podul Inalt. One of the original ROCAR 312E buses that opened the Ploiesti trolleybus network in 1996. They are only found on Line 202. Despite being twenty years younger than the second-hand buses which followed, they don’t seem much more advanced or of such good quality. These five trolleybuses were the only ones to come here new and ran the entire service unaided until 1999, when the five Berliets arrived. One of the more recent arrivals from Geneve (#5219) is parked behind.

27 september 2008 - Ploiesti (RO) - Podul Inalt. Today, a final look at Ploiesti trolleybuses. One of the five ROCAR buses at the turning circle outside the depot. A Swiss FBW is following, but these don’t come here in normal service – it’s heading for the depot.

10 september 2009 - Ploeszti. Przedstawiciel wymierającego gatunku odjechał przed chwilą z przystanku początkowego przy widocznym w tle Dworcu Południowym. O ile na 44 jeżdżą same przeguby, o tyle na 202 spotkać można absolutnie wszystko.
