27 september 2006 - Gotha (DE) – Betriebshof /zajezdnia Waltershauserstrasse. A 1929 tram from the Gotha system, converted to a work car some years ago. It has a diesel engine, so can operate when the electrical power is turned off, essential on the Thüringerwaldbahn, which runs for long distances remote from any roads.

29 august 2004 - Gotha (DE) – Betriebshof/zajezdnia Waltershausenstrasse. This is Gotha T1 Type motor tram #56 of 1928, under complete renovation. After many years as a works car, it was being prepared to join the historic fleet on the Thüringerwaldbahn.

27 september 2006 - Gotha, zajezdnia Waltershauserstrasse. Historic motor tram 56 and matching trailer 82 of 1928/29 are from the original Thuringerwaldbahn fleet, often hauling a baggage van like 101 see here – this also dates from 1928.
