W wielu krajach regułą jest oddzielenie placu postojowego dla autobusów wraz z zapleczem socjalnym dla kierowców od stanowisk odjazdowych z poczekalniami przeznaczonymi dla pasażerów. Dzięki temu kierowcy mają swobodę manewrów oraz święty spokój. A jak u nas wyglądają "nowoczesne" terminale? Wystarczy popatrzeć na poobijane lusterkami filary, autobusy cofające wprost na przejścia dla pieszych, biegających do oddalonej od stanowisk toalety kierowców w czasie krótkiej przerwy, mijających się z biegającymi między stanowiskami pasażerami, którym pasuje do domu więcej niż jedna linia - tak wygląda pętla P+R Aleja Krakowska, na której pod kołami autobusu zginęła już piesza.

W śródmieściu jest znacząco ograniczony ruch i parkowanie samochodów, dlatego najlepszym sposobem dojazdu jest zostawienie samochodu na jednym z kilku Park and Ride i dojazd bezpłatnym autobusem - częstotliwość co 10 minut, a wąskie ulice i ciasna zabudowa nie są jak widać przeszkodą.

9 may 2021 - Wnętrze jednego z całkiem sporej ilości Berkhofów w Arrivie.
Zdjęcie powstało w Veghel, gdy jechałem tym autobusem do Eindhoven, linią 157. Na tutejszym Busstation kierowca zgasił autobus i poszedł do pomieszczenia socjalnego. Trzeba było wykorzystać ten fakt.
