2 october 2022 - Budapeszt, Erzsébet híd. W latach 2011 - 2013 Mercedes produkował model Citaro C2 z silnikiem Euro 5. Autobusy te charakteryzowały się inną ścianą tylną, wizualnie zbliżoną do tych z modelu B2. W latach 2013 - 2017 dwa takie Mercedesy eksploatowane były w Gdyni przez PKS Gdynia. Do dziś warsztat PKS-u Gdynia wspomina je jako bezawaryjne/bezproblemowe autobusy.
