9 june 2001 - Gandawa, Korenmarkt. Jedyna belgijska linia trolejbusowa nosi numer 3. Uruchomiono ją stosunkowo niedawno, bo w 1989 roku - 25 lat po likwidacji ostatnich trolejbusów w Brukseli i Antwerpii.

Ciekawe czym spowodowany był ich zapał do budowy trolejbusu w takim niekorzystnym dla tego środka transportu czasie i miejscu.
