21 may 2005 - Blackpool – depot, Rigby Road. Blackpool and Fleetwood 40 ‘Box’ car was built in 1914 for the (then) independent interurban tramway that was later taken over by Blackpool Corporation. It was nicely restored for the centenary of that line in 1998 and has been operated ever since on special services. Alongside is original Blackpool ‘Standard’ double deck car 147, also retained for special use.
