Oggersheim, Germany - Hans-Warsch-Platz. Now the RHB and OEG interurbans and the city tramway systems in Mannheim, Ludwigshafen and Heidelberg are under common ownership, through journeys are operated between Bad Durkheim (RHB) and Bismarckplatz in Heidelberg along the OEG line from Mannheim, a distance of over 50 km on the metre gauge. An ‘RNV Express’ in the new orange and blue livery is seen here at Oggersheim in former RHB territory.

If memory serves me right, if you count the RHB and OEG systems as trams (which they aren't in theory), this is the longest metre-gauge system in the world, with Lodz coming in second.

Yes, Lodz was generally acknowledged as the biggest (by route miles), but now RNV runs the whole Mannheim conurbation, this must now be quite a bit bigger.
