These buses are quite expensive, but the exact price is a trade secret. (A composite body is about 2 times more expensive then a traditional steel one.)
NABI got the factory in USA,why they are still produced in here?
This is a quite new, modern plant, so it worths a lot. The new, american owner of NABI tried to sell it but they can't. The other reason is that cheaper to produce this CompoBus bodies here in Kaposvár, than move this technology into the USA. By the way, NABI has an other plant in Budapest and in Anniston, but these are producing only (stainless) steel buses.
If I remember correctly, composite bodies are also used by Temsa of Turkey - they have just sold a few "plastic buses" to the UK operations of First.
