7 october 2008 - Oradea, Romania – Iosia. A flowery KT4-D at the Line 2 turning loop. These trams must use a lot of sand for gripping the rails – just look at the size of the sand hopper attached to the rear end!

Heh, bery funny picture. If the sand should be supplied from this sandhopper to the entire Tatra units in Oradea after 10 year surely will not emptied this hopper. Before the ULF started they service in Oradea 1 or 2 tram had sand in their tanks. The sanding sistems on the trams are functional but they are not supplied with sand.
