11 june 2009 - Ostend (BE) – depot/zajednia. The Coast tramway has one very odd tram - #6102. It was built in 1982 for Charleroi, but it never reached there. Instead, BN fitted an experimental centre section to test whether these trams were suitable for the new light metro system in Manila (Philippines) – but it never went there, either. It was tested on the Coast line but TEC Charleroi eventually decided they didn’t want it, so it stayed here and now belongs to De Lijn. It’s the only double-ended tram they have.

As far as I know, the tram never reached Charleroi because of a crash during the tests.
