No to nasi inżynierowie trochę dłużej sobie czekali na realizację marzeń o mostach podwieszanych - aż do drugiej połowy lat 90, kiedy to mieliśmy istny wysyp takich mostów.

U nas w tym samym czasie most Grota też miał powstać w takim kształcie. Jednak przyszedł kryzys i - jak donosiła prasa - nie było za co kupić austriackich lin nośnych.
