5 march 2010 - Crawley, Southgate Avenue. We waited with Dave for three buses at this spot - only ONE of them used the bus lane at all. What for anyway? The bus lane is 100m long, so most of the day the buses don't really need to slow down to 10km/h to get into the guided portion, whereas the traffic jams caused by halving the road capacity at this sport cause the buses to actually run slower in the peak than before.
