7 july 2013 - Riga, Meža prospect -> Tilta street. During XXV All-Latvian Song Festival and XV Dance Festival there were changes in public transport traffic. For example, before and after concerts in Mežaparks Concerthall trolleybus route no. 3 was extended to Mežaparks bus terminus. Because of that route number was changed to 3a.

Did they use the overhead wiring on Meza prosp. or the trolleybuses ran on diesel all the way between Sakrandaugava and Mezaparks?
Trolleybuses run on diesel all way from Sarkandaugava to Mežaparks and also all way backwards to Sarkandaugava. Tomorrow I will upload some pictures from Meza prospect, the only problem for them is that pictures are dark because the sun was shining and, as you maybe know, Meza prospect is a huge tree alley, so all over one of the main streets of Mežaparks was shadow.
