Wow! This bus has gone from a rainy island to a sunny island! I know the British like to move abroad in retirement, but didn't realise the buses do too!
There is more such buses. For example, there is one citaro in Larnaka, with logo "First". This one:

It seems, the citaros (don't look like the new ones) comes form Great Britain as well.
Oh wow! Thank you again. I am always interested to see former UK buses working overseas.
There is many second-hand buses here in Poland, in east countries, but You have a really big problem: You cannot sell the left-side buses. Only to Malta, Cyprus etc.
Yes, that is why I am very interested in the many smaller buses (Mercedes Vario, Iveco Daily etc) that were exported to Poland from the UK and the driver moved to the left side. I drove many of the Mercedes Vario/Plaxton Beaver 2 type here in the UK and when I visited Kielce I found one bus I certainly drove, now working there. Fascinating!
Last time on Cyprus, I rented a left-side car. It was so funny!
And warning: there are on Cyprus no timetables on bus stops. You have to check everything in Internet before You come. Otherwise I have some "self made". I can send you.
I don't expect to be going any time soon #fafax, but thank you for the offer! I must get back to Poland before I can think of these other exotic places!
Yes, I've driven my "right hand drive" car to Poland a few times, of course 90% of the journey on the "wrong side" of the road! Also I have drive an "left hand drive" coach in the UK - which was great fun! Now, my next challenge is to drive a Polish bus in Poland
Please tell, when You will be in Poland. We can organise something.
#fafax, that sounds great! I am planning on taking my W124 Merc to Poland once the project is finished. I was planning some time in spring 2014.
One more thing:
This bus has still the british registration plate under the new one:
