11 september 1998 - Gandowa, Gent, Belgium. An original BN PCC tram before they were renumbered and generally upgraded by de Lijn. Route 40, shown here, ran for a time but has now gone, just like the PCCs - although they were slightly old-fashioned and able to carry limited numbers of people, they are sadly missed. The little Gent trolleybus system has also gone for good. Progress, I wonder.....
