9 april 2018 - New York, Manhattan, 86th Street station. One of three stations on the NYC subway`s newest section, officially opened on 01/01/2017. It`s the first portion of the Second Avenue Subway, running along eastern Manhattan and planned since the 1940s when the elevated line over 2nd Ave has been demolished. Similarly as in the case of all other overground sections in Manhattan, that line was supposed to be replaced with a tunnel soon after; however, for many reasons its construction has been delayed until the 2010s...
