20 september 2013 - Dortmund, Germany - Technische Universitat: When the Ruhr Schwebebahn is mentioned, you naturally think of the unique Wuppertal line - but in fact there are two other, similar systems nearby. This is the H-Bahn suspended monorail at Dortmund, which runs for about 3km between various sites around the Technical University. Built by Siemens in 1984, it was the prototype for the Skytrain, a very similar line which serves Dusseldorf Airport.
