5 september 2011 - Ozorkow (PL) – Poludniowa. Ex-Bochum M/N6 #301 crosses the Bzura river near Poludniowa on the last lap of its almost two hour journey from Port Lodz in the south of the city. MKT is currently resisting plans for the city transport company (MPK) to take over their company at the end of 2011 (MPK already have the line to Zgierz and badly want the MKT Helenowek depot) and the future of this amazing line is not yet clear. If MPK does take over MKT, their plan is to stop MKT trams from entering the city – leaving only Helenowek to Ozorkow for them to operate, which would not be economic. Meanwhile, MKT has recently bought four of these nice (but rather small) ex-BOGESTRA Duewags. It has also bought the TP company, so there are some interesting time ahead!
