28 march 2012 - Brussel/Bruxelles (BE) – Avenue de Pesage. One of the unique Bombardier Type 2000 trams which run on several routes in Bruxelles. These trams have unusual ‘maximum-traction’ bogies that have always been a big problem (when the track reaches a corner, the tram wants to go straight ahead, with predictable results) so they are limited to certain routes only and are subject to a maximum speed limit of 50km/hour. I believe that STIB would get rid of them, if they could, even though they have only reached about half of their planned life.
