19 may 2005 - Gotha, Bahnhofstrasse. This KT4D was specially painted to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Thuringerwaldbahn in 2005. This car came second-hand from nearby Erfurt.

20 may 2005 - Gotha – near Reinhardsbrunn. The Thuringerwaldbahn runs parallel to a DB branch line along this stretch, but the railway service is very sparse – it’s just possible to photograph train and tram together, but you have to be extremely patient (I never managed it).
