17 october 2010 - Originally loan from EBRD was expected for the supply of new trolley buses. However, the European Bank did not approve it, so the cheapest offer had to be chosen. Therefore, the 26 companies purchased the tender documents, and later only three participated in the tender (LAZ,BKM and some Chinese producer). Many west european producers have not applied for the participation in the tender due to high prices for their products. BKM offered the best price, which probably would not be offered to other countries. It also should be noted that duty on products between Serbia and Belarus is just 1%, which indirectly affected the price.
