27 july 2004 - Nordhausen, Germany - Oskar-Cohn-Strasse: A reason for tram enthusiasts to visit this small system in 2004 was the brand new tram-train operation along the metre gauge Harzquerbahn railway for 110km to the village of Ilfeld, operated by three Combino trams in both electric and diesel modes. Here we see dual mode #202 working away from the wires on a linking track between the tramway and the adjacent railway. On its journey, the tram will share tracks with both diesel and steam trains and even obey semaphore signals along the way.

27 july 2004 - Nordhausen, Germany - Ilfeld: Dual mode Combino at Ilfeld, nearly 11km away from the nearest electric tramway line. It will run just one stop further, where there is a busy hospital, then retrace its steps back to the city in diesel mode before continuing on through the city as a conventional tram.

23 august 2004 - Nordhausen, Germany – Oskar-Kohn-Strasse. Since 2004, three dual mode (diesel/600v electric) Siemens Combinos have operated along an 11km stretch of the metre gauge Harzquerbahn from Nordhausen town centre to the village of Ilfeld. Combino Duo #202 is here seen leaving Nordhausen Bahnhofsplatz, running on diesel power along the non-electrified street track connection from the town tramways. First appearance of these dual mode trams on TWB.

27 september 2006 - Nordhausen, Germany – Harzquerbahnhof. Combino Duo #202 picks its way carefully through the Harzquerbahn railway yards, running on diesel power under railway operating rules – even needing to obey the semaphore signals. The daily steam train from Nordhausen to Brocken, drawn by #99-7236-5, will soon depart and use the same single track as far as Ifeld.

28 february 2013 - Ilfeld, Neander Klinik. Przystanek początkowy tramwaju linii 10 znajduje się na trasie kolei wąskotorowej Harzquerbahn. Tramwaj po przyjeździe zjechał pusty przystanek wcześniej celem przepuszczenia jadącego pociągu, po czym podstawił się i pojechał do centrum Nordhausen.

28 february 2013 - Nordhausen - Nord, dworzec kolejowy. Na tym przystanku następuje zmiana trakcji na elektryczną. Tramwaj zmienił również numer linii z 10 na 6.

20 july 2022 - Niedersachswerfen. Szlakiem Ilfeld - Niedersachswerfen Ost podąża tramwaj linii 10 z Ilfeld Neanderklinik do Nordhausen Theatherplatz. Trójczłonowy Siemens Combino Duo korzystając z agregatu prądotwórczego zbliża się po torach Harzer Schmalspurbahnen do przystanku Niedersachswerfen Ilfelder Straße. I pyk, 3500.

20 july 2022 - Ilfeld, Lindenallee. Dwutrakcyjny tramwaj Siemens Combino Duo #202 rozpędza się po obsłużeniu przystanku Ilfeld Schreiberwiese. Tramwaj porusza się po torach Harzer Schmalspurbahnen przy pomocy agregatu prądotwórczego zasilanego silnikiem diesla.
