| Other Information | Stagecoach Devon, part of the Stagecoach Group, was formed in 1996 with the takeover of Devon General of Exeter and Bayline of Torbay/Newton Abbot. Devon General dates back to 1919. In 2003 the Bayline and Devon General operations were renamed Stagecoach Devon. In 2007 Stagecoach took over Cooks Coaches of Wellington, including a fleet of 60 buses. This was branded as Stagecoach in Somerset. In September 2015 Stagecoach took over the Plymouth, Dartmouth and Tavistock depots from First Devon & Cornwall. With the takeover of this operation Stagecoach renamed itself Stagecoach South West. In September 2016 the depot in Exeter moved from Belgrave Road, in the centre of the city, to a site at Matford Park & Ride. In 2018 Stagecoach took over a large part of Plymouth-based Target Travel. | |||
