The houses in the background, which are all located on streets named after hydroelectric power plants, were built in 1934 - 1937, mainly for workers in the gas and power plants next door. Line 54 became operational on 19 June 2015. Until 1998, there was a line 54 with a completely different route, which in 1967 replaced tram 4.

Line 31 should have been opened to traffic on 13 December 2020. 28 March 2021 is a new date. The reason for the delay is that Swedavia, which owns the airport, has not approved the traffic that risks interfering with the radio signals to the aircraft. The huge fence on the left, which has also been given a barbed wire at the top, is there to shield the disturbances that can be caused by the spark formation from the train`s pantographs.
