18 june 2022 - Sochaczew Wąskotorowy. W muzeum kolei wąskotorowej znajduje się podobno oryginalny wagon tramwaju konnego z Mrozów. Został zbudowany w 1908 r. i woził pasażerów do ok. 1968 r., do zamknięcia linii. Wraz z wagonem wyeksponowano konia. Niestety w jego przypadku brakuje dalszych informacji.

12 may 2022 - Warszawa, ul. Targowa. Przez ostatnie noce trwały próby najnowszego zabytku we flocie TW - objeżdżany był wagon wieżowy W z roku 1928. Zasadniczo wielu fotostopów nie było, ale konieczne były czasami krótkie zatrzymania celem pomiaru temperatury osi (jedna lubi się przegrzewać). Tutaj krótki postój w sercu Pragi-Północ. Niedługo potem wagon i tak musiał zostać podczepiony do towarzyszącego mu Unimoga, bo jak się okazało na Trasie W-Z wyłączone było napięcie w sieci, a na jego załączenie trzeba by było czekać zbyt długo.PS. Nie odpowiadam na pytania dotyczące pantografu ;)

2 april 2022 - Liberec, ul. Masarykova. Pierwszą atrakcją do zwiedzania tego miasta był ten oto tramwaj. Przetarliśmy nim połowę wąskich torów w mieście. Poziom hałasu tego tarcia sami sobie wyobraźcie :D

16 february 2010 - Egypt - Giza, Media City: Rarely seen by enthusiasts (who have probably never actually ridden on it) is this short tram line at a purpose-built film set in the desert near Cairo. All the buildings here are artificial, made of wood and concrete to represent an old Egyptian town. To complete the picture, an ex-Cairo tram of the 1920s has been placed on a track about 300 metres long. At my request, special arrangements were made for a small group to visit and see the tram working. Here it is seen about halfway along the track - although the gauge is incorrect, the scene is intended to represent old Alexandria and is very convincing. The tram has seen better days, standing outside in the hot sun for many years, but can still run.

13 september 2018 - Vitebsk, Belarus - tramway depot: A rather more sympathetic restoration is this motor and trailer tram set in the depot yard. Presumably these are 1898 originals from the first tramway line in the city, although they have lost their original identities - they were probably restored for the 115th year anniversary, then given another lick of paint recently. The system was metre gauge until the 1930s and trams like this would have come from Germany or Belgium, as the company was originally built under French ownership.

21 september 2005 - Czerniowce, skwer przy ul. Gagarina. Tramwaje elektryczne w Czerniowcach kursowały w latach 1897-1967. Sieć składała się z podstawowej trasy (rzeka Prut - Dw. Główny - centrum - Dw. Południowy) i krótkiego odgałezienia do zajezdni. W stulecie otwarcia systemu, nieopodal dworca ustawiono jako pomnik jedyny zachowany w mieście wagon tramwajowy. Jest to jeden z 21 wozów serii 2M, które dostarczył tu w latach 50. Kijowski Zakład Elektrotransportu im. F. E. Dzierżyńskiego. Zaraz po realizacji tejże dostawy podjęto decyzję o likwidacji tramwajów i zastąpieniu ich funkcjonującymi od 1939 r. trolejbusami...

21 march 2013 - Liberec - DPML Tramway Depot: This 1929 Ringhoffer has been a regular performer on the metre-gauge tracks in this city. Now it has been withdrawn for an experiment (shown here) where it has been fitted with wooden wheels so that it can run on either metre- or standard-gauge tracks.

1 may 2014 - Bruxelles/Brussel - Place Saint Pierre: Here is tram #1428 again with its open trailer - just the thing for a nice, warm day but a bit unpleasant for riding in more typical Belgian weather. Note the trolley pole for current connection - large parts of the Brussels tramway overhead wire network doesn`t seem to mind whether a tram has trolley pole, bow collector or pantograph. This point is a long way from the museum, where trolley poles are more common.

22 march 2010 - Lisboa, Praca do Imperio, Belem: The inside of the `beached` trailer car at Belem in Lisboa, now quite nicely fitted out as a rest place for passing tram crews, who can take their rest breaks here when turning at the adjacent loop.

22 march 2010 - Lisboa, Praca do Imperio, Belem: Standing off the track under the trees at the Belem Monastery loop in Lisboa is this, the very last `soapbox` four-wheeled trailer tram of the Carris system, now used as a rest home for tramway employees, who evidently use it for meal breaks and a nice sit down. Although there is a similar tram in the Carris museum, this one is the last to escape from captivity.

19 april 2015 - Budapest, Varosmajor: Although purists might argue that this has no place on TWB, the Budapest Cogwheel Railway is Line #60 of the tramway company and shares drivers with the other, more conventional routes in the city. It runs for about 3 miles into the hills of Buda along a track too steep for normal trams and has been in existence since 1874, when the vehicle pictured here was built by the Nikolaus Riggenbach company who first equipped the line. I think it might be the oldest vehicle ever seen on TWB? The brake-man does not have a very pleasant job. Note also the traverser, still in use here to join several tracks.

11 september 2014 - This 1926 Skoda tram dates from the start of electric operation in Osijek and has been kept for occasional tourist use. It is seen here in the main city square, followed by an ex-Mannheim Deuwag GT6 car, which is the more normal daily vehicle.
