8 september 2019 - Budapest, Erzsébet tér. Węgierski wrodzony gen przedsiębiorczości na razie tylko nieśmiało podpowiada wypromowanie Ikarusów jako atrakcji turystycznej. Myślę, że w przyszłym sezonie linia turystyczna będzie jeszcze bardziej popularna. Stare tramwaje Ganz na linii 2 już coraz śmielej pojawiają się na kubkach, koszulkach i innych gadżetach z Budapesztu. Czas na legendę autobusową.

20 july 2018 - Debrecen, Deli Sor. Zajezdnia. Tak wygląda jeden z niewielu zachowanych ikarusów 284. Szczęście w nieszczęściu jest takie, że on istnieje.

29 august 2015 - Folyás. Kolejny raz już zlot wyjeżdża na chwilę nad staw pod ruiny starego kościoła. Po co? Jak to na w węgierskiej imprezie - nikt nie wie :) Ale jest szansa na inne ujecia.

29 august 2015 - Fajny gładki pulpit. Ciekawe czy oryginalny czy wyszpachlowali chropowaty. Razi tylko ta sklejka... jak po remoncie w MZNA Kraków.

29 august 2015 - Tego typu autobus nie mógł odnieść sukcesu w czasach głebokiego socjalizmu. 280tka z małą liczbą miejsc siedzących w połączeniu z czteremia szerokimi wejściami idealnie nadawała się do przewożenia ogromnych ilości pasażerów. Niskie wejście? Kto by się tym wtedy przejmował.

29 august 2015 - Remont tego autobusu był sporą niespodzianką. Na pierwsze doniesienia w internecie trafiłem dopiero po pierwszych jazdach próbnych na mieście.

29 august 2015 - Autobus przeszedł bardzo drogi remont. Zachwyca świeżością i cieszy oko. Lokalni koneserzy pracujący przy budowie tych autobusów mogą wskazać jednak ogromną listę błędów przy doborze materiałów. Trzeba mieć jednak świadomość, że zarzuty dotyczą nawet sposobu regeneracji okien. Idealnie pracujące prowadnice zostały w końcu pomalowane srebnym lakierem zamiast polerki aluminium! :) Na zdjęciu widać także pierwszy model drzwi dwupłatowych.

28 august 2015 - Polgar, Archeopark. Gwiazda zlotu. W tym roku BKV przyjechało tylko jednym autobusem ale za to jakim. Najfajniejsze jest to, że ikarusem 284 jechałem liniowo w Debreczynie ale tam objechałem istniejące dwie sztuki. Natomiast próba dorwania tego egzemplarza w Pecsu nie powiodła się i przejechałem się nim dopiero tutaj.

7 march 2015 - Debrecen, István út. Almost all of the former citybuses have been scrapped since DKV is the new operator in Debrecen, but fortunately these two special Ikarus are still living and waiting for the resurrection. BKV would like to buy BPY-150 (seen on the left), because this bus was running in the capital city in the `80s for more than one year, but they couldn`t agree with Hajdú Volán. So an other Ikarus 284 was purchased (JOY-222) and hopefully it will be restored this year.

30 june 2009 - Debrecen-Pac, the terminal of the line 8. When we were here (with Rodriguez) an old woman asked: "Why are we taking photos of the bus?". We said that it's the last day of Hajdú Volán's urban bus service and this bus is unique. Or something like that, I don't remember exactly;) By the way, the old woman wanted a picture of her in the front of the bus, when Rodriguez saw that he told me that I must upload it here, but trust me guys you don't want to see that picture;) And this is my 700th picture here;)

28 november 2006 - Lakihegy (district of Szigetszentmiklós). JOY-222 still in Pécs livery. In the October of 2006, BKV tasked it`s subcontractor, VT-Transman to perform on lines 38A and 138. Latter one bought withdrawn Ikarus 280s and a 284 from Pécs for this business. The buses were in a real bad condition, so they led to a strong fallback on service level. As a result, a rearrangement was taken on the end of the year, BKV took back the lines. The buses of Transman went under a minimal repair and got the standard grey-blue livery of Budapest city buses. They got their new role on tram replacement services 41V and 47-49V.

25 august 2007 - Budapeszt. Wycieczka do Budapesztu nie byłaby udana, gdybym nie przejechał się moim ulubionym autobusem. Na szczęście zamknęli jedną linię kolejki HEV i na linię H1 wyruszył też ten mój ulubiony autobus. Dlatego serię zdjęć z urlopu rozpoczynam właśnie tym modelem :)
