20 august 2016 - Norwich, Bus Station. These buses were used on the X1 `Excel` service from Peterborough to Lowestoft. This was the longest bus route in England until 2014, with a length of 107 miles / 172 km. In 2014 the route was split into Peterborough - Norwich and Norwich - Great Yarmouth - Lowestoft. These buses were replaced by new buses in February 2020.

DAF SB220/Ikarus 480 #M834RCP
9 september 2006 - Norwich, Surrey Street Bus Station. On this fine day I decided to visit the Trolleybus Day event at the East Anglia Transport Museum near Norwich. During my 2 hour morning stopover at Norwich I managed to shoot this unique bus: a DAF SB220 chassis with an Ikarus-4XX series body (numbered 480). Due to their age, these buses are currently dying out, so I was dead lucky to find this one. The yellow bus in the background is one of many Agoras, which serve the P+R routes in Norwich.
