20 march 2010 - Lisboa, Santo Amaro: There appear to be only two or three works trams remaining from the batch of ten once supplied to Lisboa. Although I`m not an expert, they seem to have Brill 21E underframes and Dick, Kerr DB1 controllers, which suggests to me that they arrived here very early in the 1900s? Anyway, they are mostly replaced by motor trucks these days. This particular one is a box van and is still seen occasionally on the network at night.

30 december 2016 - Kraków, plac Wszystkich Świętych. Na stronie MPK można wyczytać, że "lokomotywa tramwajowa została zbudowana w latach 20. XX wieku we Wrocławiu, z wykorzystaniem podwozia wagonu tramwajowego typu Berolina z ok. 1901 r. Wagon po wycofaniu z eksploatacji w latach 70. został przekazany w latach 80. do Krakowa."

7 october 2012 - Bruxelles/Brussel (BE) – de Villalobar. Next, a much older, four-wheeled tram from 1927 with its own goods trailer – these are normally housed in the Transport Museum and don’t often get an outing. Note the trolley pole, which was a standard feature in Bruxelles until comparatively recently. The city also had several lines equipped with underground conduit current collection, but this has all now gone.

16 july 2012 - Napiwoda, gm. Nidzica. Ni to tramwaj ni to kolejka. Taka ciekawostka znajduje się na terenie tartaku w Napiwodzie koło Nidzicy. Na siłę można powiedzieć, że jest to druga sieć tramwajowa w województwie warmińsko-mazurskim! :D Co prawda porusza się to na kilkunastometrowym prostym odcinku, ale zawsze coś. I w zasadzie nie wiem czy to się porusza jeszcze - dzisiaj przynajmniej się nie ruszał. :)Z premedytacją wrzucam knota zrobionego przez szybę auta, bo to jednak ciekawostka jest. ;)

AEG goods tram #3012
- Dresden (DE). In DDR days, Dresden had an amazing collection of works cars. Some were ex-passenger cars, whilst others were purpose-built. These undated photos must have been taken in the 1950s - they came to me with no information. Here are #3012, built as a goods tram by AEG in 1918, and #3201 built by Waggonfabrik Schöndorff in 1927. 31 may 2006 - Daugavpils (LV) – depot/zajezdnia. Another huge works tram – this time, a steeple cab locomotive. It’s hard to see what use they have here for such a machine, but it’s kept in good condition. It looks as though it would be more at home on an industrial railway somewhere – perhaps that’s where it came from.

Muki goods tram #7130
28 april 2004 - Budapest (HU) – depot/zajezdnia Budafok. A ‘Muki’ adapted for use as a snow clearing tram. These goods motors were a Hungarian speciality, but can be found also on lines in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Budapest once had 40 of these, but there are now only a few left.

Tramway locomotive #G-051
26 april 2001 - Krakow - Muzeum Inzynierii Miejskiej. Another view inside the little museum, showing a nice selection of tramway works material, including an electric locomotive. It also shows some tourists, who wouldn’t get out of the way…… I wish I had more time and more camera film in this place. I think the building was an old horse tram depot? Directly opposite was another very old depot, which I think was for the original electric trams.
