7 may 2012 - Woltersdorf (DE) – Berliner Strasse. After leaving Rahnsdorf, the Woltersdorf tramway runs through dense woodland (passing the place where once a frontier checkpoint marked the boundary of East Berlin with the rest of East Germany) until it meets the village street. Here, an electrical substation has been nicely painted with views of the tramway. Berlin historical car #2990, on test after being restored in the Woltersdorf workshops, pauses for a photograph.

7 may 2012 - Woltersdorf (DE). The little Woltersdorf tramway keeps several historic trams on the property, including this fine 1910 maximum-traction bogie car from Berlin (which was renovated here). The workshops are now busy restoring another Berlin tram to the same very high standard.
