25 june 2018 - Opole, Koszalińska Street. A few changes took place in Opole`s bus routes on June 25th. Among others lines 9 and 13 were lengthen to Witosa Wygonowa terminus using Tarnopolska and Koszalińska Streets and Solidarity Avenue. Koszalińska sees regular lines for the first time in its history. Sadly, there is no bus stop here...

19 june 2018 - Opole, the intersection between Witosa Avenue and Solidarity Avenue. The bike and pedestrian infrastructure in Opole leaves much to be desired. In the picture an typical example: after crossing Solidarity Av. bikeway has no continuation whatsoever. In fact in parts of the west side of Witosa Av. there is no sidewalk at all!

27 july 2015 - Opole, ul. Tarnopolska.Jeszcze jedno wspomnienie z pierwszego dnia kursowania linii nr 28 (a konkretnie nawet pierwszego kursu w tym kierunku). Być może mało kto już dziś o tym pamięta, ale przez cały pierwszy tydzień kursowania linii obsługiwały ją wozy #522 i #523 (o ile dobrze pamiętam z jednym małym wyjątkiem któregoś dnia). Po protestach okolicznych mieszkańców, którym przeszkadzał ruch autobusów pod oknami dzisiaj nie ma już śladu, a już niedługo - w związku z powstawaniem nowej zabudowy w tym obszarze miasta - warto będzie pomyśleć nad poszerzeniem oferty komunikacyjnej. Pierwszy ruch miasto wykonało w niecały rok od uruchomienia nowej linii - od 2 lipca 2016 linia 28 zaczęła kursować także w weekendy. Wciąż jednak chciałoby się więcej!

14 october 2016 - Opole, ul. Tarnopolska. Poranne kursy na linii 28 niestety jeżdżą na bardzo dużych opóźnieniach - na pętlach nie ma prawie w ogóle przerw, a kursowanie „przyjazd - odjazd” nie pozwala na wyrównanie rozkładu. Może uda się to kiedyś skorygować. A w tle - Opole w budowie ;)

29 april 2013 - Opole al. Witosa. W zeszłym tygodniu po ponad 30 latach od rozpoczęcia (kwiecień 83 chyba) MZK Opole wycofało z liniowej służby ten wóz, prawdopodobnie najstarszy liniowy autobus w Polsce. Stan techniczny nie pozwala już na jego dalszą pracę. Dobra informacja jest jednak taka, że nie pójdzie on wcale na złom, ale będzie czekał na remont i będzie zabytkiem. :) Tymczasem #421 jeździ ale ledwo dycha, #410 też ostatnio stał, jednak już jeździ i nawet zrobili mu poprawki malarskie. Kończą sie nam Ikary...

14 september 2012 - Opole, al. W. Witosa. W roli głównej "bliźniak" - z pewnością to nie był jego najlepszy dzień. Czekałem na niego na Al. Solidarności, a nie mogąc się doczekać, postanowiłem wracać na al. Witosa. I ukazał się mym oczom, rozkraczony na przystanku. Ratować przyjechał go pogot, w zastępstwie pojawił się #251, a do towarzystwa dołącza kolejna używka - #457 na linii 17.

2 july 2012 - Opole, al. „Solidarności”. Pierwszy dzień kursowania linii 15 nową trasą. W tym dniu na 15 kursowały wozy #207, #251, #255 (a w dalszej części dnia #217) oraz #507. Zapowiedzi nagrane ładnie, a z 15 na al. „Solidarności” głównie w tym dniu wysiadano, niż wsiadano. Liczymy na ciepłe przyjęcie nowej linii na tej ulicy :)

1 july 2012 - Opole, ul. Ozimska. #209 ustrzelony w ostatnim dniu kursowania "15" tą ulicą. Ostatni autobus tej linii przejechał tędy nieco ponad godzinę temu. Od jutra, odcinek między ulicą Pużaka, a aleją Witosa "piętnastka" pokona nowowybudowaną Aleją Solidarności. A kilka słów o historii tej linii przeczytać można tutaj :)

W sumie rzuca się to w oczy dość mocno, gdyż żaden z naszych MAN-ów nie jest z przodu, poniżej szyby, całkiem biały. W świąteczny poniedziałek podąża w stronę Cmentarza Komunalnego, znajdując się na zasadniczo początkowym etapie swojej trasy, biegnącej przez os. Malinka.

11 november 2011 - Opole, ulica Małopolska. To mała uliczka po której został poprowadzony objazd dla linii 5, 9, 10, 13, 17. Wszystko to spowodowane przebudową skrzyżowania na południowy - zachód od znacznika na mapce :) Od kilku dni autobusy zaczęły jeździć też w drugą stronę (patrz #206), przez co tworzą się takie oto mijanki ;)

28 october 2011 - Opole, Aleja "Solidarności". Skoro MZK jest "opieszałe" to trzeba było samemu zadbać o pierwsze zdjęcie autobusu na otwartej w tym tygodniu ulicy. Przystanek po opolsku z dala od zabudowy, już zazdroszczę "orzeźwiającego wiaterku" oczekującym na przystanku.

22 april 2011 - Opole, al. W. Witosa. Ścigaliśmy go tego dnia dość długo, a w końcu zatrzymaliśmy go na dobre na pętli Witosa-Wygonowa. Najbardziej zadbany ikarus w Opolu, tego dnia prowadzony przez kierowcę nie-właściciela. Mimo to bardzo miłego i pozdrowienia mu się należą :)
