30 august 2009 - London, City of Westminster, Piccadilly. Oh I will miss these... And once again a round of applause is due for Boris Johnson for creating another public transport monster. According to http://www.londonbusroutes.net the new route 38 currently has a PVR of 70 double-deckers, and the cost of all this is around £4m a year. The owner of the bendies has such a massive problem with selling the large stock of 5-year-old bendies, that they even put up a website - http://www.bendy-bus.com, where they even offer rebuilding the buses for left-hand drive. Anyone in Silesia up for it? :)

Tablica świetlna pokazuje kierowcy, że jego pojazd jest za wysoki i powinien zjechać na "nie-tunelowy" pas ruchu. Ten jednak nie zważając na to karkołomnie sunie na przód. ;)
..niestety zdjęcie już historyczne, na 521 przeguba więcej nie ujrzymy :/

Nie tak dawno przeczytałem gdzieś, że londyńscy kierowcy łatwiej znosiliby przeguby, gdyby przy skrętach wydawały one dźwięki grającego akordeonu. Jak widać Arriva próbowała coś w tym kierunku robić - jednak przy braku pozytywnych rezultatów "bendy buses" ostatecznie znikną z ulic stolicy Zjednoczonego Królestwa (przy radości taksówkarzy i kierowców, mieszanych uczuciach pasażerów i mojej dezaprobacie).

Obecny przewoźnik to prawdopodobnie ta firma - ale trzeba to jeszcze sprawdzić.

Widoczny w środku osobnik zachwile zwinnie prześlizgnie się pomiędzy towarzyszącą mu wyższą zwierzyną i pogna dalej w kierunku Ilford. ..niestety ten gatunek jest na tym obszarze na wymarciu - dosłownie skazany na wyginięcie.
