13 february 2017 - Kviteseid bru, Kviteseid. The days of the brucks in Telemark are soon coming to an end. By 1 July 2019, new PSO contracts will take over, and for them, all the current brucks are way too old. (Maximum 25% of the buses can be Euro V, the rest must be Euro VI. The brucks are Euro II and III.) Also, all the local operators lost their contracts, so from then on the whole of Telemark will be operated by Nettbuss. This will not affect the commercial long-distance coach routes Haukeliekspressen and Telemarkekspressen, but essentially all the corresponding local routes will be lost. This also means that I can`t buy one ticket all the way between Drammen and Kviteseid anymore, but will have to buy a new one in Seljord. That is, if the local bus will even be an option. Some people in the Telemark county administration have suggested that all bus routes in upper Telemark that are not schoolbuses should be operated as on-demand routes, which means that one have to order it the day before. No matter how this turns out, it will guaranteed be a major setback to the bus traffic in the area.

30 december 2016 - Telemark Bilruter garage, Vrådal. 30 December 2016 was the last time ever that the bruck between Fyresdal and Seljord corresponded in Vrådal with the bruck (#57) heading towards Arendal. From 2017, travellers from Vrådal would have to change bus twice to get to Arendal because of new PSO contracts in Aust-Agder. Telemark Bilruter only go to Åmli, while the cargo service is only offered to Treungen.

Ówczesna linia 45 kursowała trasą E45 w relacji Gällivare-Östersund-Mora o długości prawie równo 1000 km, w grudniu tego samego roku odcinek Östersund-Mora przemianowano na "46". Zdjęcie zrobione na nowym dworcu autobusowym oddanym do użytku niecały rok wcześniej. Robiąc zdjęcia przykleiłem się do żywicy wypływającej ze szpary w drewnianej fasadzie.

24 december 2009 - Kviteseid. Merry Christmas to all transport fans around Europe and the rest of the world! :-D Even the bus says so. "God Jol" is a local variant of "God Jul", which is the Norwegian saying for "Merry Christmas". This bus passing here at 13:10 was the third last bus today, and from now and until sunday there will not pass a single bus.

27 december 2007 - Kviteseid, Vrådal, Telemark Bilruter garage and bus station. Two buses of the exact same type, just different generations. The oldest one is Carrus Star 302 on Volvo B10M and the newest one is Volvo 9700S on Volvo B12M.

26 december 2007 - Kviteseid, Kviteseidgata. Even on that day there are buses! ... In Norway, all shops are closed both 1st and 2nd day of Christmas, so to actually see a bus in traffic on 2nd day of Christmas in a low populated place like this is not what you should expect. I don`t collect timetables, but I think the timetable that day was a cut-down sunday timetable.
