Wczesną jesienią spodziewana jest dostawa 9 elektrycznych Urbino 12 przeznaczonych na linie 3 i 11. Przygotowywany jest również projekt elektryfikacji linii 14 i 21, obejmujący dostawę kolejnych 8 solówek oraz budowę ładowarek w zajezdni oraz na pętli Wschodnia. Jak ćwierkają lokalne wróbelki, przetarg ogłoszony zostanie wkrótce, być może nawet przed wyborami.

16 march 2024 - Opole, Pużaka St. First batch of Opole`s electrics hit some initial reliability problems. It took a few months to sort everything out. Nowadays they reach monthly mileage of approx 4000 miles and most of them has over 100000 kilometers (or 56000 miles) on their odometers.

16 march 2024 - Opole, Solidarności Av. On 2nd September 2023 line 1 made its comeback in Opole. Yet it doesn`t share even a single stop with its incarnation from the past. It`s offers quickest east - west connection as it uses dedicated bus lines that up till then weren`t used by any urban buses. Line 1 has frequency of 30 minutes on work days, runs hourly on Saturdays with no service on Sundays.

30 june 2020 - Opole, Teligi St. Concrete monument behind the bus stop dates back to year 1934. It commemorated german World War I victims from Malina. Back then it was standalone village, now part of Opole. After World War II monument was repurposed to commemorate soviet soldiers. In the year 2018 all inscriptions referring to Russians were sanded down.

20 december 2023 - Opole, Friendship Avenue terminus. The only driver oriented facilities here are garbage bin and mobile toilet. During warmer parts of the year big old trees provide some shade too, if we are pressed to find any other positives.

13 december 2023 - Opole, Kazimierza Wielkiego - Ostroroga Street intersection. 2 of 6 new SU12 Electric debuted today. Oddly enough, bus 808 did so on lines 3 and 11, instead of 5, 9 and 13 where it should work according to conditions of EU project. Lines 3 and 11 will go electric next year, another 9 SU12 Electric have been ordered already.

11 february 2020 - Opole, Budowlanych St. The bus in front of Odra Cement Mill. It`s the oldest active cement plant in Poland as it dates back to year 1911. Opole used to be one of main producers of this material and at its peak had 9 cement plants. Odra is the last one still working and there are no plans of its closure.

19 july 2022 - Opole, ul. Damrota. Z uwagi na budowę tzw. centrum przesiadkowego przez dłuższy czas bardzo utrudniony był ruch w rejonie opolskiego dworca głównego. Autobusy trafiły też na Damrota, gdzie umiejscowiony był przystanek, na którym zatrzymywały się wszystkie linie kursujące w tej okolicy. Mi się udało tam dotrzeć tuż przed końcem tych atrakcji, lepiej późno niż wcale :)
