10 january 2022 - Dubai, Al Ghubaiba Bus Station. One of the 79 new MAN Lion`s City DD. Specifically, 2207 was delivered as part of the first batch to the Al Awir depot in September 2019, registered in October of that year. Here we can see it in the EXPO 2020 livery with a pass behind the windshield: for some time this bus was used in the EXPO Rider service. The double-decker MANs were only used on routes from EXPO to Sharjah. The bus is now waiting to depart on the X23 route, one of the 9 express routes in Dubai.

14 january 2022 - Sharjah, Al Soor Square. MOWASALAT is the only urban route operator in Sharjah. In October 2019, the entire fleet of buses was replaced with new Yutong buses. Before that, as city buses in Sharjah were used 2008` Busscar Urbanuss Pluss on the chassis of Agrale MT12.0 LE (some of them were transferred to KGL Kuwait in 2011), 2009` MCV C120SLE on the chassis of Mercedes-Benz O500U 1725, and high-floor 2003` ELBA Super Coach on the chassis of Mercedes-Benz O500R (for long-distance routes). Now there are almost no passengers on most routes, the route network is very confusing and there are no schedules.

Prior to that, the DB1 (Abu Dhabi (Central Bus Station) - Dubai (Ibn Battuta Bus Station)) and DB2 (Abu Dhabi (Musaffah Bus Station) - Dubai (Ibn Battuta Bus Station)) routes served by ITC Abu Dhabi were created briefly in July 2021. These routes could only be used from Abu Dhabi, it was not possible to access them from Dubai to Abu Dhabi.
