This is a very nice restoration. There is a list of all the Warsaw take overs of this type at http://www.kolej.one.pl/_fervojoj/BIBLIO/TABOR/WROCLAW/STANDARD.HTM. I found another source indicating that they were returned to Wroclaw in 1962, cf. Leszek Pohoryles: Die Warschauer Strassenbahn und ihre Nebenbetriebe, Strassenbahn Magazin 63. page 57.
It indeed is, it is also rarely seen in movement, as they tend not to overuse the older trams. Though, the bible of Warsaw tram enthusiasts (Warszawskie tramwaje elektryczne. 1908-1998, t. 2, 1998, p. 322) doesn`t confirm that they`ve been sent back to Wrocław. According to it Linke Hoffman cars were scrapped in Warsaw in the mid-60`s, as stated in the figure in the above pasted link. Oddly enough, the #541 tram has never been used in regular service in Warsaw.
Thank you. I have actually a photo of no. 528 in Warsaw in 1965, so I doubted that they went back.
