29 march 2008 - Debrecen, Csemete utca. ARC buses are built in Budapest, Mátyásföld, in the ex-Ikarus plant - from now under the name Ikarus! The new owner of the famous brand is Auto Rad Controlle Ltd (ARC), so after 2 years, the legend continues :) The 3rd generation of the model 187 will be presented soon, with new doors, new interior, new dashboard.

And what happened with the Hungarian Bus company that was supposed to built the Ikarus HB122 and the like?
Rumours say they are cooperating with a chinese company, but as far as I know HB hasn't produced any new bus yet...
