19 february 2010 - Alexandria, Egypt - El Central (railway station). Alexandria has both city and interurban trams - this is one of 89 ex-Copenhagen Düwags that have been here since the 1970s. Although the interurban lines run on private tracks, many market areas like this cause much delay to the city trams. It is even possible to see places where the market is moved back, away from the tram tracks, until a tram has passed by!

Egyptian cities are like India - there are so many people in the streets (and they all want their photo taken)
Now, when I think of pictures from Egypt showing buses by the Pyramids, I can say one thing - they were so boring!
Cejrowski showed in his "show" a city, somewhere in South America at similar happening... People were hiding their selling stuff from side to side to make train possible ride thru.. It all took a few seconds and after the train pass over - everything came back to normal (to sell) :P
David, please don't add more than one photo a day in order to avoid making us feel shocked too much
