Although like many other Plaxton bodied Dennis Darts, this particular example is noteworthy in that it was one of only a very small number of `R` registered examples that was not new to FirstGroup, who had exclusive rights to this design for a period of time. This example was unique in being new for the HoverBus shuttle service in Portsmouth, but is seen here deep in the Wiltshire countryside on a rural service for its current owners. However, since the photo was taken things have changed again and the contract to operate this service has moved to another operator.
