Poziomo ułożony silnik wymaga m. in. modyfikacji miski olejowej, układu smarowania, a także układu chłodzenia. W tym aucie pracuje MAN D0826 LUH12. Silnik ten posiada rzędową pompę wtryskową z elektroniczną regulacją dawki - EDC.
