31 august 2004 - Leipzig, Germany – Hauptbahnhof. Another candidate for the ‘ugliest tram’ prize must be this 1995 Siemens-Deuwag design for Leipzig. Hardly an oil painting, is it? This is the vast, four track tram station outside the main railway station. This place is tram heaven, but taking photos is quite scary, as trams are moving continually in both directions, so you need to be awake.
