6 august 2012 - Oldham, Lancashire (UK) – Oldham Mumps. Oldham Mumps isn’t the name of an infectious disease, but the current (temporary) terminus of the latest Metrolink tram line from central Manchester. This line will shortly extend to Rochdale as the latest phase of a major extension project, taking the system to a size and nature comparable with Tramwaje Slaskie, involving a number of lines which run far out of the city in true interurban fashion. Here, Bombardier M5000 car #3024 reverses before returning through Manchester city centre to St Werburgh’s Road, part way along the Airport line.
