5 may 2012 - Szeged, Rókusi körút. Kanciasty Szwing pokonuje ładne trawiaste torowisko, oddane do użytku niewiele ponad 3 miesiące wcześniej, 2 marca 2012 roku. Produkty bydgoskiej fabryki teoretycznie spotkać można na liniach 1 i 2 - obie ruszają spod głównego dworca kolejowego i rozdzielają się na pobliskim rondzie. Jedynka kończy trasę przy budującym się jeszcze (i niezbyt okazałym) centrum handlowym Szeged Plaza, dwójka jest nieco dłuższa - umożliwia przesiadkę do trolejbusów, kończąc trasę na pętli Európa Liget.Tego dnia w ruchu były tylko dwa takie żółtki - oba na dwójce, jeden za drugim. Trzeci - lśniący nowością 106 - wyjechał jedynie na próbny przejazd bez pasażerów. Wnętrze wygląda niemal kropka w kropkę jak to znane z wersji dla Warszawy.

6 april 2012 - Szeged, Rókusi körút. The new tram line, the line 2 was started in the beginning of March 2012. Mostly the Pesa trams run on it with some KT4 trams in the rush hours. I don't know how many of the arrived but I saw 4 trams in service.

30 march 2011 - Szeged (HU) - depot/zajezdnia, Csaky jozsef utca. An interesting project in the Szeged trolleybus depot. This experimental, low-floor articulated tram was being built as a ‘mock-up’ with parts from older trams (I suspect this involved some of the Tatra B4 cars which came here from Dresden a while ago). However, I think the tramway company soon realised this project didn’t really make sense, so it was abandoned and new Pesa trams bought instead.

30 march 2011 - Szeged (HU) – Kossuth Lajos sugarut. #809 is possibly the smartest remaining ‘Bengali’ tram remaining at Szeged – although there were quite a few others still remaining at the depot when I visited, none were in service and their time now appears to be over, except for special journeys.

30 march 2011 - Szeged (HU) – depot/zajezdnia, Pulcz utca. At the tramway depot, this ex-Cottbus Tatra KTNF6 has been parked by the entrance for some time, apparently abandoned and still exactly how it looked in service at Cottbus. Maybe it never actually ran here in Szeged?

30 march 2011 - Szeged (HU) – depot/zajezdnia Pulcz u. The works tram pictured here has an amazing history. Built in 1897 as Budapest #207, it was rebuilt in 1938 as Type F1A prototype #1506 (later #1520). In 1972 it received a new body and was finally withdrawn from Budapest in 1984, coming to Szeged as a works tram. The Skoda trolleybuses are here because Line 7 comes through the depot yard to turn.

Tram lines out to the edge of town mainly feature single track and passing loops, but all now have newly-built turning places at the ends, so the double-ended capability of these Bengalis is no longer needed.

30 march 2011 - Szeged (HU) - Boldogasszony sugarut. The Hungarian city of Szeged has both trams and trolleybuses and is well worth a visit. Here is a large archway on the road to the main railway station, which is also a monument of some sort. There are other fine buildings in the historic city centre. The tram is one of the last remaining, double-ended ‘Bengali’ type, which are just kept in reserve these days and aren’t needed for normal service.

2 october 2010 - Szeged, trolley depot - The foundation has bought this ex learner tram from SZKT in 2009, so this is our first vehicle. The tram will "celebrate" its 40th birthday in this year, we would like to renovate it.
