28 march 2009 - Charleroi (BE) – Beaux-Arts. Three generations of tram at the grandiose Beaux-Arts metro station, TEC BN car 7433 passes an unused platform where two original Charleroi city trams are on display. At one time, the SNCV (now TEC) and Charleroi trams shared much of the track around the city, but now only the last traces of the huge SNCV network remain. The third tram shown here is an SJ Type, modernised by at the local SNCV Jumet depot for service on the metro system and now used as an overhead line car. The current fleet of BN cars replaced these in the 1980s.
