27 march 2012 - Charleroi (BE) – Soleilmont. More heavy rail infrastructure on the newly-opened line to Soleilmont, which was started in the 1980s but has only now been completed. A tram arrives at this important bus interchange station, where efforts have been made to bring feeder buses away from the city centre. This seems to be a success – quite a few people are now travelling to the city by tram (many of whom, I suspect, didn’t even know the tramway existed until it reached here).
