3 october 2008 - Resita, Romania – Nera. The rather poor, heavily-industrialised city of Resita isn’t much visited by enthusiasts. It has another of the small, on-street tramways built by Romania in the late 1980s to link housing areas with the city centre and principal places of employment. Most of the standard gauge, 18km long double track is used by a single route, slightly extended at peak hours. Service is provided by ex-German Deuwag GT8 trams in a variety of advertising liveries.
