3 october 2008 - Resita (RO) - Piata Republicii. This was the normal southern terminus, where the line swung to the side of the road before sweeping back towards the city on a tight loop across the busy road. Tracks continued from here to another terminus at Stavila, some distance further along the same road, but we never managed to travel this section during our visit and assumed it was closed. Too late, we discovered that one or two trams went there, although no indication was given in the timetable and just a small cardboard destination sign was displayed on the dashboard of these trams – so we missed our chance.
