2 june 2008 - Burgas, Bulgaria; San Stefano Street. This Neoplan and his brother drive on the line number 30 and other near village lines since April, 2007. This is one of the worst mistakes ever done by "BurgasBus". Not only did they take away two of the best articulated buses from the city lines, but the operator took care both of the Neoplans get amortisated for just a year. Now the buses are in terrible condition (just like most of the other buses that drive on the village lines) - you can hear the rattling even from outside the vehicles and when you get in, you have the feeling that the ceiling is going to fall. The buses are also in a bad cosmetical condition.

24 may 2008 - Burgas, Bulgaria. A Chavdar 11M4 with an unknown owner, is seen parked in the Meden Rudnik district. You can even see the older logo of Chavdar (not the one with the triangle and the circle we are used to see), and maybe these are the original headlights, which are similar to the ones of an old model of Moskvitch. When I showed this picture to an older bus fan than me, he supposed that this is an ex-BurgasBus Chavdar, which was sold so that they can get rid of the bus without scrapping it. And this is a very rare occasion in Bulgaria since most operators (including BurgasBus) are too poor to sell a bus, which is still in a decent condition.

25 may 2008 - Burgas, Bulgaria. An MB Travego bus on the line Sofia - Stara Zagora - Burgas and probably the reverse. I guess in the moment I was taking the picture it was just heading to Stara Zagora. In Burgas, there seem to be so many operators that I hardly notice them if they don't have buses running on city lines. Actually, new coaches are too boring for me and since "BurgasBus", for instance, don't have enough money to purchase them, I don't care who does.

april 2008 - Burgas, Bulgaria. A 1586 BM on his new job - the village line 16, where it now spends most of its time in service, driven by the ex-drivers of an Ikarus 260, which was also purposed for this line earlier. The drivers are father and son and live in one of the villages that the line passes through. The father's name is Kondyo and all the passengers know him as well as he knows them. This bus is in service only in weekdays - otherwise other buses drive on the line. Now all Den Oudstens go to the villages and left the city lines in the beginning of April. They are replaced on the city lines by circa 10 Mercedes O405N. P.S. The picture is taken in the Meden Rudnik district.

17 may 2008 - Burgas, Bulgaria. Ikarus 280 on the line 121. This line works only in weekdays in the mornings and in the afternoons. The route in the morning is the opposite of the one in the afternoon just like the line 101 of "Burgasvolan". On 121 you can see almost everytime only Ikaruses and if the dispatcher is in the mood, he can change one of them with a better bus.

10 may 2008 - Burgas, Bulgaria. This MAN bus likes it dirty :] The photo is taken in front of the garage of another transport operator in Burgas - "Comfort". You can even see an Isuzu, property of the operator. But let's talk more about the MAN bus! The line 101 is a line available in the mornings and the afternoons in the weekdays (10 may wasn't part of a weekend for us in Bulgaria, so the line had to be available on that Saturday. Why? It's a long story!). The interesting about this line is that it's a one-way line, so when the buses finish the route, they have to get back empty to the first stop, crossing the half city. And also in the afternoon the route is in reverse in comparison with in the morning. I mean in the mornings the first stop is in the district of Izgrev and that same stop becomes a last stop later in the afternoons. I hope you got me right!

What I've heard about this bus is that it was bought by "BurgasBus" in 2004 after a heavy accident of another Chavdar 120 in order to replace it. This partiular piece was found somewhere in Plovdiv or something and before the purchase it hasn't ran much. If only I knew when it was built...

11 may 2008 - Burgas, Bulgaria. The worst trolleybus in Burgas on the only trolleybus line in the city. Inside everything is rusty and rotten, you can see the chassi, you can also touch the metal which is actually outside. On this picture the pigpen is driven by a Sean Connery clone. The other driver is female and often gets very nervous and shouts on other vehicles or on pedestrians, pushing the horn.

11 may 2008 - Burgas, Bulgaria. Yesterday, I showed you the best looking MAN bus in Burgas for me. Today I'm presenting you the ugliest one. It looks like it was built for India or other poor Asian countries. I suppose the suspension is like the one used for the trucks and there are no airbags. This particular model is completely unknown for me, so if somebody knows its name, please, edit the info about the vehicle. P.S. The bus line is Kameno-Burgas-Kameno.

A beautiful (I've never thought that someday I'm gonna say such thing) MAN coach, that I've noticed recently, is heading to Sozopol, because as you can figure out it's going on the line Burgas-Sozopol. It's just getting out of Ivan Vazov Street and is going on a short bridge which relates Ivan Vazov Street and Industrialna Street.

This track was originally planned for a high-speed tram in the 80s, while the underground was planned to run under Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd. But in the 90s they decided to use the high-speed-tram track for the underground.

25 april 2008 - Sofia, Ruski Pametnik Sqr. The first (of all 18 units) tram modernized by Inekon Group - Czech Republic. Till 2006 it was an ordinary T6M-700, but then a new low-floor middle section was added, new engine and so on. In fact only the "skeleton" remained from the original T6M-700 ;) ... But it is not hard to feel the spirit of the old Bulgarian trams.

25 october 2007 - Plovdiv, okolice zajezdni trolejbusowej. Model autobusu zgadywałem, przewoźnika też. W tym drugim przypadku zasugerowałem się tablicą w stylu trolejbusowej. Na 27 jeździł też inny wóz z logo bardzo podobnym do tych trolejbusowych. Kiedyś tędy jeździły trolejbusy, ale resztki sieci trakcyjnej już się chyba nie nadają nawet do szuszenia prania.

I love old Neoplan coaches and all though I've never riden in this one, let this serve for an obituary. If you know the exact model, please, correct the data in its profile. In left there is not much of another scrapped bus.
